Why The Fantastic 4 Reboot Failed!

It's no secret that last summer's superhero flick Fantastic Four was a bombof epic proportions — even star Kate Mara hasn't seen it yet!
Not only did it have a reported budget of $120 million, but it only ended up earning $59 million total in the US!
Well since the release, there has been a lot of talk about the comic book flick's failure like the director Josh Trank who blamed the studio among other people.
While we definitely took what Josh said with a grain of salt as there were a TON of rumored problems with production, another star of the film Miles Teller opened up about why the movie bombed so hard.
The actor was a guest on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he said:
"I think it was Clooney who said you can make a bad movie out of a good script, you can't make a good movie out of a bad script, and that's very true."
Shots fired!
Seeing as how Trank was the one who wrote the screenplay, we're not sure Miles will be working with the director anytime soon!
The 29-year-old went on to advise other actors not to make the mistake of signing on when the script isn't there:
"If they're telling you maybe your part's not as big and they say, 'Oh you're gonna be bigger in the sequel' or 'Oh we're gonna rewrite' and 'Yeah we're gonna take in all these notes,' if you're in a position where you can say 'Hold off I'm not signing off on this dotted line' until this script is exactly where you want it, then you're in a very fortunate position. "
Teller also said:
"Because I know actors that have been in literally Oscar-winning performances that told me the script was a struggle every day to get it to a place that [they] wanted it, and [they] were always fighting for the best version of it."
This seems to back up what Michael B. Jordan previously said about the failure being a result of factors "outside the actor's control."

The Pros and Cons Of COVID-19 Contact Tracing Apps

Written by                Jack -  Guest author Contact tracing apps seem to be the new fad. Their popularity is also one that comes on the back of a series of unfortunate events. They seem to hold another approach to fighting the menace of a disease that has claimed no less than 400,000 lives worldwide. The widespread race to get these apps working can also be attributed to the coming together of two big names in tech, Apple and Google, to make the frameworks for such apps happen. Like every other thing, though, how does the scales tip in favor of, or against, these apps? The Case for Contact Tracing Apps In April alone, the US people lost more jobs than the economy had been able to gain in about a combined decade. More unemployment claims are filed daily, while companies do not take their staff out of furlough anytime soon. Businesses are folding up daily, too, especially those still p...
