Apple's iTunes Store will no longer work on old devices, starting from May

The first-generation Apple TV was released more than 11 years ago and starting this May, Apple's iTunes Store will
no longer work on the device, along with other older computers.

In a recent Apple support post, the tech company announced that the online store to purchase music, videos, TV shows, movies, and apps won't be accessible on first-generation Apple TVs and Windows XP and Vista PCs starting May 25.

Apple says new "security changes" will prevent the older PCS and the old Apple TV from using the store. Apple goes as far to call the first-gen TV "an obsolete Apple product." But without updates iTunes isn't going to work — you'll need to upgrade to a second-generation or newer TV.
This is quite the departure from the original advertising around the once shiny and new TV product — which was inextricably tied in with iTunes.
Apple's new Apple TV was all about iTunes synergy back in 2007 when it came out.

For the computers, you can continue using old versions of iTunes but don't expect any support from Apple. Also the iTunes store will be fairly useless since you won't be able to purchase anything new or re-download purchases.
Mark your calendars for the end of iTunes if you're holding onto any of these old devices.

The Pros and Cons Of COVID-19 Contact Tracing Apps

Written by                Jack -  Guest author Contact tracing apps seem to be the new fad. Their popularity is also one that comes on the back of a series of unfortunate events. They seem to hold another approach to fighting the menace of a disease that has claimed no less than 400,000 lives worldwide. The widespread race to get these apps working can also be attributed to the coming together of two big names in tech, Apple and Google, to make the frameworks for such apps happen. Like every other thing, though, how does the scales tip in favor of, or against, these apps? The Case for Contact Tracing Apps In April alone, the US people lost more jobs than the economy had been able to gain in about a combined decade. More unemployment claims are filed daily, while companies do not take their staff out of furlough anytime soon. Businesses are folding up daily, too, especially those still p...
