Researchers at MIT developed a thread that can be steered magnetically to glide through the brain's blood vessels and
clear any stroke-related blockages.
If this technology catches on, it could pave the way for remotely executed endovascular surgeries, which are currently performed manually and expose doctors to considerable amounts of radiation.
