South Africa Loses Fight Against Covid-19


About 1,000 deaths have been recorded in South Africa since the emergence of the the ravaging virus from Wuhan China. President, Cyril Ramaphosa’s idea of easing lockdown restrictions to allow businesses and education to resume has created an avenue for further spread of the virus.
Hundreds of cases have been recorded after the ease of lockdown restrictions, signifying that the country is under siege by the deadly virus. It ranks second to Egypt who have recorded 1,080 death cases.

 Europe is recovering from the upset from the virus while Africa is dying from it. In view of this the president has advised citizens to not be alarmed but concerned and follow safety protocols to stop further spread of the virus. "As we watch the number of infections rise further, probably far faster than most of us imagined, we should be concerned, but not alarmed, This is because we have the ability to limit the impact of the disease on our people,” He said.
