From its 2023 budget, the German government has allocated an additional 1 billion euros ($1.03 billion) to support Ukraine.
According to a document, funding is set aside to protect Ukraine from Russian hackers and gather proof of war crimes.
"The Ukraine budget makes clear that our support goes much beyond the crucial and necessary weapons delivery," said Robin Wagener, a Green lawmaker and chair of the parliamentary Ukraine group.
"We heavily put money into promoting peace in Europe and Ukraine."

A contract involving grains from the Black Sea is discussed by the UN and Russia.
Senior UN officials and a Russian team are currently in Geneva discussing Moscow's complaints about the plan to export grains from the Black Sea, according to a UN spokesperson.
According to Alessandra Vellucci, spokeswoman for the UN in Geneva, talks on Ukrainian exports are being led by UN assistance chief Martin Griffiths and senior UN trade official Rebeca Grynspan, who was meeting with Sergei Vershinin, Russia's deputy foreign minister in the UN headquarters in Geneva.
At a news conference, Vellucci stated, "It is hoped that this debate will advance the progress made in facilitating the unhindered export of food and fertilisers from the Russian Federation to the international markets.
Only eight days remain before the United Nations and Turkey-mediated agreement from July is set to be renewed. The deal has prevented a worldwide food crisis by enabling the export of food and fertilisers from many Black Sea ports in Ukraine.
