The New York  Times has warned about the invasion of Asian giant hornets in Washington state, adding another threat to worry about to the already calamitous year. The situation is devastating as thousands of bees were found laying dead with their heads ripped off, killing a whole colony.  The state of Washington has urged people to find, report on and kill these hornets. A dead one was first spotted in December on a beekeeper's front porch. These asian giant hornets are the largest species of hornets in the whole world.
