  The housewife and maid had little concern when Mohammad Fajar, Siti's son, started experiencing health issues at the end of August this year. The young boy, who was five years old, had just celebrated Indonesia's Independence Day at home in Medan with his family. He used his mother's phone to record videos of himself laughing and dancing. Siti, a pure Indonesian, thought her sole child was well enough to fend off a cold. She offered cough medicine from the neighbourhood drugstore to help him feel better. Fajar passed away on September 15, however. He may have died from suspected renal failure brought on by the widely available medications to help him recover from his cold rather than the illness itself.

Kristy Marie Siple, 35, has been charged with the murder of her 5-year-old daughter who she deliberately sold for sex to her male friend, police say . According to police documents, Kristy Marie accepted money from a man who wanted to have sex with her child, Kamarie Holland who was just aged 5.   Kamarie, who lived in Columbus, Georgia, US with her mom, was found dead 13th Dec, 2021 in an abandoned house just across the state border in Phenix City. The mum had just reported her daughter missing that morning. After a two-week investigation, police arrested the mum on December 28 and charged her with the murder of the child. Another person involved, 37-year-old man Jeremy Williams, is also accused of murder in the case.   According to police, the mum took the money from Williams and let him rape her daughter, local Georgia news agency, CBS affiliate WRBL reported.   Military sources said  Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru   was on a trip to Kaduna when he died in an air crash with some of his aides. Efforts were on to locate the wreckage of the plane and evacuate the remains of the victims. His mission to Kaduna was said to be “official.” The Nigerian Air Force, in a statement by its Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet confirmed the crash. The statement said: “An air crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport. ” The cause of the crash is still being ascertained. More details soon.”

  In less than 48 hours after the South-East Governors Forum announced formation of its regional security outfit, EbubeAgu, some Ebonyi villages were again in focus yesterday as many people were feared killed, following an attack allegedly carried out by some assailants on the villages at Ngbo in Ohaukwu Local Government Area. But the state government controverted survivors of the attack who claimed many people died, saying only four persons lost their lives.  The latest attack came just two weeks after more than 27 persons were killed in four communities in the state by suspected herdsmen. While the state government attributed yesterday’s attack to indigenes of Agila community in Benue State, villagers in Ngbo community who spoke to newsmen, described them as herdsmen.

  The tragic incident occurred at about 7 p.m. on Friday April 9, at a mining site belonging to Cabitex Company, where gunmen suspected to be Fulani militia killed eight workers in Kuru, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. Dalyop Mwantiri, of Emancipation Centre for Crisis Victims in Nigeria (ECCVN) , a non-governmental organisation based in Plateau, who confirmed the incident, gave the names of the victims as:  Mrs. Talatu Sunday, Mrs. Jumai Useini, Mr. Davou Dalyop Pwol (beheaded) Mr. Gyang Joseph Nyam. Mr. Gabriel Nuhu. Mrs Nvou Dung. Mrs Dung Monday. Mrs. Shabang   The Secretary-General of Kuru Development Association, Barrister Chapo Daniel, who also condemned the incident, said the area and entire council has been under attack for sometime. 

  The five men were travelling from Adamawa State to Kaduna State when they were involved in a ghastly motor accident. An aide to the Adamawa State Governor, Miracle Musa, said that the five men were on their way to Kaduna to attend a friend's engagement ceremony. "Five Adamawa boys, all perished, burnt beyond recognition. On their way to Kaduna to convey " kayan tambaya" for their friend's engagement. Three are from Bekaji while the other two were from Karewa GRA." Miracle Musa wrote.
