The Famous Ex - President Of Ghana Is Dead

  Jerry John Rawlings, the former President of Ghana died on Tuesday the 12th of November 2020 after a brief illness. He was 73years.  The state-owned Daily Graphic said   Rawlings   had been hospitalised at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for about a week for an undisclosed illness. Brief History   He is a joint recipient of the 1993 World Hunger Prize.  He holds an Honorary Doctor of Law Degree from Medgar Evers College, City University of New York and Lincoln University Doctorate Degree for Diplomacy and Development. A flight-lieuteant, he ceased to be a member of the Ghana Armed Forces in 1992. He formed the National Democratic Congress, which contested and won presidential and parliamentary elections in 1992 and again in 1996.  His term of office ended in the year 2000 . On May 28, 1979, Flt.-Lt. Rawlings, together with six others, appeared before a General Court Martial in Accra, charged with leading a mutiny of junior officers and men of the Ghana Armed Forces on 15th May, 1979.

A Sex Worker Has Been Arrested For Pushing Her Client To His Death From A Hotel Window

 About 11 sex workers have been arrested by the Asokwa District Police Command in Ghanaone for the death of a client who was pushed by one of them from the hotel window.   The incident took place on the 10th of May, at Anidaso Hotel in the Kumasi metropolis of the Ashanti Region.   The victim who was believed to be in his 30s was alleged to have been pushed from the hotel window, where he had gone to enjoy the services of one of the sex workers.    An eyewitness said the man was naked and was still wearing a condom when he landed to death.
