Woman Sentenced To 40years In Prison For Throwing Her Babies In The Thrash Minutes After Birthing

  Alyssa Anne Dayvault, a YouTube beauty blogger has been jailed for 40 years after she dumped her two newborn babies in the trash.   The YouTube star gave birth to a baby girl in 2017 followed by a baby boy in 2018. She dumped both babies in the trash moments after birthing them.   The 32 year old Alyssa Anne Dayvault, skipped her trial in October and a jury convicted her of two counts of homicide by child abuse despite her absence.   She was sentenced on Thursday, October 5, to spend four decades in prison. Judge Steven John sealed her sentence until she was located and brought to Horry County Court. The jury convicted her of throwing both babies in the garbage moments after birthing them.   After showing little emotion while hearing her verdict, she tearfully asked the judge to reconsider her sentence. “I just want to apologise,” she said.   She also has two other daughters, whom she also apologized to. “I hope one day they’ll forgive me for what I’ve done.” Dayvault also apologised

The Death Of A Man And His Son In India Police Custody Has Sparked Outrage

India has been trending recently on different levels of incidents which have been marked by protests across the country. The latest is the  death of a father and son in police custody in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, which has caused outrage after the victims' family accused the police of torturing the duo in custody. P Jayaraj, 59, and his son J Bennix, 31, were imprisoned by police last Friday in Thoothukudi district for violating coronavirus lockdown orders in the state. The police accused them of opening their mobile phone shop beyond the 8pm limit. The police claim Bennix complained of chest pain and Jayaraj suffered from high fever while they were lodged inside the sub-jail of Kovilpatti. They were taken to Kovilpatti government hospital where both of them died within hours of each other, the police said.

The Ex-Police Officer Who Knelt On G.Floyd Has Been Arrested And Charged

The ex-police officer (Derek Chauvin) who knelt on George Floyd's knelt for several minutes as Floyd pleaded, "I can't breathe", has been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. Protests erupted in cities across the US over the deadly arrest of Floyd, an unarmed black man, who was pinned to the ground by the knee of a white officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Protesters rallied in Minneapolis for a third night on Thursday into Friday, with some demonstrators overtaking a police building and setting it on fire.  Former officer Derek Chauvin knelt on Floyd's neck for several minutes before the black man went motionless, a video of the incident showed.  Minneapolis residents called the arrest a good "first step" but demanded the three other officers involved to be arrested and charged as well.  Freeman said those officers are still under investigation. A CNN Reporter Arrested

As reported by CNN.... One their crew was arrested by police Friday morning while giving a live television report in Minneapolis, where the crew was covering ongoing protests over the death of George Floyd. The crew, including correspondent Omar Jimenez, were handcuffed and detained as Jimenez gave a live report on a Minneapolis street shortly after 5 a.m. CT (6 a.m. ET). Police told the crew they were being detained because they were told to move, and didn't, one member of the CNN crew relayed to the network. "A CNN reporter and his production team were arrested this morning in Minneapolis for doing their jobs, despite identifying themselves -- a clear violation of their First Amendment rights.  

A Black Man Fatally Shot By A White Man In Georgia (video)

The shooting occurred in February but the video was posted online Tuesday, May 5, by a local radio station host. The fatal shooting of a 25-year-old unarmed Black man by name Ahmaud Arbery, who was out for a jog when he was chased and killed, was caught on video, prompting a call for a grand jury to review the case as the shooter has not been arrested or charged. Arbery's death is being referred to as a modern-day lynching, as he was unarmed when he was gunned down in Brunswick, Georgia on February 23 by a white citizen named Travis McMichael. He also happens to be the son of a former district attorney investigator, Gregory McMichael, who was present during the shooting.
