A 48 years old man was arrested for defiling his neighbor's 10-year-old daughter.

  Adekola Adeshina, 48, was arrested by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command on suspicion of defiling his neighbor's 10-year-old daughter.  SP Josephine Adeh, the command's spokesperson, said in a statement on Sunday, March 26, 2023, that the suspect was apprehended by operatives attached to the Apo Divisional Police Headquarters and confessed to carrying out the heinous act on multiple occasions.

Breaking News: Chief Of Army Staff Dies In Plane Crash

  Military sources said  Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru   was on a trip to Kaduna when he died in an air crash with some of his aides. Efforts were on to locate the wreckage of the plane and evacuate the remains of the victims. His mission to Kaduna was said to be “official.” The Nigerian Air Force, in a statement by its Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet confirmed the crash. The statement said: “An air crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport. ” The cause of the crash is still being ascertained. More details soon.”

Rape: I Have Been A Victim Of Rape From 7Years Of Age To 24Years

  A Nigerian lady by name Dorothy Edet, has come out to share her heartbreaking story of surviving rape several times which she said started from her childhood.  The woman, while speaking with newsmen during the funeral of Iniobong Umoren, the jobseeker who was raped in Akwa Ibom, recounted how she has been raped by close relatives, strangers as well as people she went to sell her wares to when she was a child.  In her words, ''My name is Dorothy Edet. I am actually a survivor of rape. I understand what it means. When people talk about rape, I also want to air out my voice.

Fulani Militia Kills 5 Women And 3 Men, Beheads One Of The Three Men (Graphic)

  The tragic incident occurred at about 7 p.m. on Friday April 9, at a mining site belonging to Cabitex Company, where gunmen suspected to be Fulani militia killed eight workers in Kuru, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. Dalyop Mwantiri, of Emancipation Centre for Crisis Victims in Nigeria (ECCVN) , a non-governmental organisation based in Plateau, who confirmed the incident, gave the names of the victims as:  Mrs. Talatu Sunday, Mrs. Jumai Useini, Mr. Davou Dalyop Pwol (beheaded) Mr. Gyang Joseph Nyam. Mr. Gabriel Nuhu. Mrs Nvou Dung. Mrs Dung Monday. Mrs. Shabang   The Secretary-General of Kuru Development Association, Barrister Chapo Daniel, who also condemned the incident, said the area and entire council has been under attack for sometime. 

5 Men Burnt To Death On Their Way To A Friend's Engagement Party

  The five men were travelling from Adamawa State to Kaduna State when they were involved in a ghastly motor accident. An aide to the Adamawa State Governor, Miracle Musa, said that the five men were on their way to Kaduna to attend a friend's engagement ceremony. "Five Adamawa boys, all perished, burnt beyond recognition. On their way to Kaduna to convey " kayan tambaya" for their friend's engagement. Three are from Bekaji while the other two were from Karewa GRA." Miracle Musa wrote.
