  Adekola Adeshina, 48, was arrested by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command on suspicion of defiling his neighbor's 10-year-old daughter.  SP Josephine Adeh, the command's spokesperson, said in a statement on Sunday, March 26, 2023, that the suspect was apprehended by operatives attached to the Apo Divisional Police Headquarters and confessed to carrying out the heinous act on multiple occasions.

Kristy Marie Siple, 35, has been charged with the murder of her 5-year-old daughter who she deliberately sold for sex to her male friend, police say . According to police documents, Kristy Marie accepted money from a man who wanted to have sex with her child, Kamarie Holland who was just aged 5.   Kamarie, who lived in Columbus, Georgia, US with her mom, was found dead 13th Dec, 2021 in an abandoned house just across the state border in Phenix City. The mum had just reported her daughter missing that morning. After a two-week investigation, police arrested the mum on December 28 and charged her with the murder of the child. The Hollywood executive producer, David Guillod, has been charged with multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, and kidnap of four women in California. The charges came from alleged encounters in 2012, 2014 and 2015 with four unidentified women accusers, ranging in age from 27 to 41, in Los Angeles County and in Santa Barbara County, according to the complaint filed by Santa Barbara District Attorney Joyce Dudley. The 53year old who ran Primary Wave Entertainment, a talent agency, surrendered to police Monday morning in Santa Barbara, near Los Angeles after a three-year investigation. He is now in custody at the Santa Barbara County Jail, with bail set at $3 million. 

A man 38 years old, Mr Simon Emeka who allegedly raped his 7-months old daughter has been arrested and at the Nigeria Correctional Service on the orders of a Makurdi Magistrate, Mr Isaac Ajim. This comes after the accused was arraigned over the alleged crime committed last Monday. Prosecutor, Sergeant Friday Kanshio informed the court that the matter was reported to the police by one Josephine Habba who said she heard of the sad incident when she went to Jestic Hospital with her child for treatment and saw one, Mrs Favour Emeka crying before a nurse that her baby was raped by her husband. The prosecutor however said investigation was yet to be completed, while the accused denied the charge against him. Ajim, who is the trial magistrate, rejected bail for the accused due to the nature of the allegation and adjourned the case to the 31st of August for further mention.
