Breaking News: Apple Currently Being Sued

Apple has focused on consumer privacy over the last few years. The iPhone manufacturer has argued about the matter with other Big wits in the Tech industry, most notably Meta, the owner of Facebook. Facebook has lost huge revenue due to Apple's attempts to preserve customer data. However, it turns out that Apple has been gathering user data on its own, despite its users having adjusted their settings to prevent the corporation from doing so. Apple is currently being sued. The software company Mysk's Tommy Mysk and Talal Haj Bakry, who work as app developers and security experts, recently discovered that iOS sends "every tap you make" to Apple from inside one of the business's apps. The developers claim that attempts to prevent collecting this data, such as using the Settings option to "block the sharing of Device Analytics completely," did not affect the data's transmission.

Trump's Twitter Account Banned For Life, Twitter CFO Confirms

Donald Trump will no longer be permitted back on Twitter even if he runs again for office and wins, according to the company's chief financial officer. Asked during an interview on CNBC Wednesday whether Trump's tweeting privileges could be restored if he wins the presidency again, CFO Ned Segal clarified that Trump's ban is permanent. "The way our policies work, when you're removed from the platform, you're removed from the platform," he said, "whether you're a commentator, you're a CFO, or you are a former or current public official. Remember, our policies are designed to make sure that people are not inciting violence, and if anybody does that, we have to remove them from the service and our policies don't allow people to come back." The statement comes amid Trump's impeachment trial in Congress. If he is acquitted, Trump would not be barred from seeking the presidency or another federal office. Twitter took the unprecedent

Mr President Flagged Again By Twitter After Tweeting False Claim That He's Not Contagious And ls Now Immune To COVID-19

Twitter again flagged one of Trump's tweets for violating their rules on spreading misinformation about COVID-19. This time it was because of his false and dangerous claim that he is now immune to the coronavirus and can no longer spread it. In the tweet, he wrote, "A total and complete sign off from White House Doctors yesterday. That means I can’t get it (immune), and can’t give it. Very nice to know!!!" The letter from the doctors he is referring to was issued on Saturday night and does not explicitly say that the president tested negativefor the virus. The warning labels, which also make it impossible for the tweet to be retweeted, are a fairly toothless rebuke. They've also deleted posts and other tweets the president has shared. Still, the platform has long resisted calls to ban the president entirely from tweeting. However, while Twitter has stepped up their corrective actions against the president's habit of making false claims in recent months, they see

Facebook Deletes Trump Post Calling COVID-19 'Less Lethal' Than Flu.

Donald Trump was back on social media shortly after returning from the hospital, downplaying the severity of the coronavirus.  “Flu season is coming up!” read the post published to the president’s Facebook page on Tuesday morning. “Many people every year, sometimes over 100,000, and despite the Vaccine, die from the Flu. Are we going to close down our Country? No, we have learned to live with it, just like we are learning to live with Covid, in most populations far less lethal!!!” This is not true. Yes, people still die from the flu. The CDC reported at least 24,000 people in the U.S. died from the flu during the entire 2019-2020 season, which is in line with numbers in previous years.  The United States have recorded more than 210,000 deaths from COVID-19 in just six months. Without quarantining and social distancing, those numbers would undoubtedly be much higher. Also, as Trump mentioned, there’s no vaccine, like there is for the flu. “We remove incorrect information about the sev
