  A U.S civil rights activist and a Baptist minister, Alfred Charles Sharpton, has filed for divorce from his wife, Kathy Jordan whom he has been separated from for 17 years. Rev.Alfred is also a talk show host and a politician.   The 66-year-old civil rights activist filed for a contested divorce in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday February 11, court records show.  Sharpton and Jordan met in the '70s when Al was touring with James Brown and she was a backup singer. They got married in 1980 and were together for 24 years before their split. The pair have two daughters together, Dominique and Ashley Sharpton.    The civil rights activist and MSNBC star has been in a relationship with Aisha McShaw, a personal stylist from Westchester since 2013.

  Police in Delta state has arrested a woman who allegedly killed the father of her two children with the heel of her shoe over alleged infidelity.    The incident happened on Saturday afternoon, January 23, in Ugbuwangwe community, Warri South Local Government Area of the state.    Sources said that the suspect allegedly used the heel of her shoe to hit the deceased identified as Sylvester Etsebaghranro after accusing him of infidelity. He slumped and died on the spot but she has since denied the allegation. Meanwhile, spokesperson of the command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, who confirmed the incident told Vanguard on the phone that the suspect has been arrested.   “We arrested her to keep her in protective custody. And so that we can find her whenever she is needed. The lady has made some confessions to the Police about the incident. But nobody from the family or around has come to report the matter. So we are going on with the statement of the woman that she didn’t use her shoe on him
