A 48 years old man was arrested for defiling his neighbor's 10-year-old daughter.

  Adekola Adeshina, 48, was arrested by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command on suspicion of defiling his neighbor's 10-year-old daughter.  SP Josephine Adeh, the command's spokesperson, said in a statement on Sunday, March 26, 2023, that the suspect was apprehended by operatives attached to the Apo Divisional Police Headquarters and confessed to carrying out the heinous act on multiple occasions.

Breaking News: Unknown Gunmen Has Attacked The Country Home Of Imo State Governor

Governor Hope Uzodinma's country home in orlu Imo state has been attacked by unknown gunmen.  It was gathered they invaded the Governor’s residence in Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area in early hours of Saturday. They reportedly killed two security men on duty before torching it. It was also learnt vehicles parked at the compound and part of the building were affected by the fire. Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, confirmed the incident. According to him: “It is true but the information is not still clear. It is not true that several security men lost their lives. About two security men on duty at the governor’s house were killed. NSCDC personnel was among the security men who lost their lives during the attack.” Full details soon......  

Videos: 3 Dead, 10 Others Suffocates As Students Waits To Write Exams

  News coming from Ebonyi State University - EBSU says 3 students of the University have allegedly died after they suffocated while attempting to write a GST exam in a crowded hall on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Footage shared online show hundreds of students struggling to get a space in the hall for the exam. During the struggle, eight students reportedly fainted, some got injured, and some suffocated to death. Watch the videos below....

IMF Advises Nigeria To Devalue Naira

  The International Monetary Fund has advised the FG to devalue its currency. But the Federal Government disagrees with IMF's recommendations that it further marks down its currency that’s more than 18% overvalued to ease external imbalances, the Washington-based lender said. The Buhari led administration sees currency pressures stemming from global outflows caused by the coronavirus pandemic and believes another depreciation would add to double-digit inflation, according to the IMF’s Article IV report for the country that was published Monday.
